Vassilis Barkoukis
Vassilis is the coordinator of the project in Greece. He will manage and monitor the project activities and report to the coordinating site. In addition, he will be involved in the preparation of the intellectual outputs of the project related to the fitness industry. Finally, Vassilis will participate in the dissemination activities of the project.

Stela Kaffe
Stela will assist in evaluating the effectiveness of online doping e-learning programmes targeted at the fitness industry. Her tasks include carrying out the evaluation of the e-learning programmes (Dopinglinkki and Safe You mobile app) in Greece.

Charalampos Tsormpatzoudis
Charalampos will evaluate the effectiveness of the online doping prevention programme in Greece. This includes the evaluation of the e-learning programme intended for the personnel of fitness centres and the Safe You mobile App.

Amanda Atkinson
Amanda is the lead UK researcher for the ERASMUS project. She had a key role in designing the evaluation methodology and is conducting the UK evaluation of the acceptability of the PIED e-learning modules among health care professionals.

Jim McVeigh


Jim was a co-applicant on the ERASMUS project. He is the Co-lead of Work Package 2 in which the e-learning tools and apps are evaluation is conducted.

- Worked as a practitioner and researcher in the field of anabolic steroids and associated drug use for over 25 years.
- Published in the area of Human enhancement drugs including anabolic steroids, growth hormone, other peptide hormones and weight loss drugs.
- Interest in risk behaviours, in particular blood borne virus transmission.
- Active in the area of drug policy, legislation and service development.
Harry Sumnall
Harry will co-supervise the project research (Work Package 2).

Ingrid Bakker

Ingrid will assist in evaluating the e-learning programmes for the health-care sector in the Netherlands. Her responsilibilities will include conducting video interviews with experts, recruiting participants from the target group for the survey and follow-up interview and conducting the interviews. Ingrid will also conduct a thematic analysis of interview data and translate the main findings together with Tjeerd.
